MILITARY

The Philharmonic recognizes the importance and sacrifice that our men and families make while protecting our freedoms, and as a small token of our appreciation all active Military can receive 50% off tickets to any Philharmonic concert. To receive this discount you must purchase the tickets in person and present their military ID at our box office located at 302 Cypress Street, Abilene, TX or at the Convention Center on the night of a performance.

STUDENT

Students ages 6 through 18 can enjoy any Philharmonic concerts for only $9.00. It is important that our youth experience a live symphony orchestra concert and gain the appreciation for the world’s greatest art form. Can be purchased online, but a student ID is needed to gain access to the concert. (No children under the age of 6 will be allowed in the concert hall)

GROUP

Share your love of music with family, friends, and others with tickets to any of our world-class performances. Discounted tickets can be provided for groups of 10 or more to most performances. Please contact a box office representative to help with your special outing. 325.677.6710

COLLEGE STUDENT RUSH

Two hours before every concert, college students have the opportunity to purchase $9.00 tickets. Rush tickets are available on a first come, first serve basis and are subject to availability. Students must present a valid student ID and pay in cash or a $2.50 processing fee will be applied for credit cards.

TICKETREACH PROGRAM

ENGAGING AND INSPIRING
OUR COMMUNITY

The Abilene Philharmonic’s TicketReach program enables youth and members of our underserved community the opportunity to experience a live professional symphonic orchestra concert at no cost.
Tickets can be requested by individuals or by a group, and upon this request the Abilene Philharmonic will provide the desired number of tickets free of charge. Specific criteria and guidelines have been created to ensure the maximum benefits are extended to our patrons.
Previous participants in the TicketReach Program include public and private schools, Big Brothers Big Sisters, the Boys and Girls Club, Noah Project, Disability Resources, and Dyess Air Force Base families. Tickets are used for educational field trips, incentives, or as a break for those dealing with stressful circumstances in their lives. In our 2017-18 concert season, 355 TicketReach tickets were provided to the community and fully funded by corporate partners and other major donors.

TICKETREACH REQUEST FORM

The APA’s TicketReach program provides opportunities for underserved members of the Abilene Community to experience the power of live orchestral music. 

Although a seat at one of our concerts cost as little as $15, that price is still out of reach for many families in the Big Country. Through TicketReach, non-profit organizations serve as a conduit between individuals of need and the Philharmonic. 

 A non-profit may request tickets on behalf of an individual or group, and the Philharmonic is able to provide these tickets free of charge thanks to the donors and sponsors of this program. The non-profits can use the tickets as a field trip, an incentive, or simply as a break for those going through stressful times.
