“Love is friendship set to music.”
JACKSON POLLOCK
Founded in 1988 by Conductor Laureate, George Yaeger, the Abilene Philharmonic Foundation manages an endowment that ensures the future financial well-being of Abilene’s professional orchestra. Gifts that build this endowment establish a source of predictable annual revenue, in perpetuity. They offer protection from budget constraints and help build a secure financial future.
Gifts support the orchestra now and in future generations
Funds are invested conservatively and monitored for performance
The distribution of funds is geared to perpetual support
YOUR GIFT TO FUTURE GENERATIONS
An endowment is a permanent fund that provides annual support to the Abilene Philharmonic. Similar to a personal retirement account, this fund will be prudently and expertly invested. Each year the fund will provide an annual stipend to further support the goals and aims of the APO - creating a permanent, stream of financial support in perpetuity. Please consider joining this important initiative and support the power of live symphonic music for future generations.
ONE TIME CASH GIFTS
Make a donation to support the future of our beloved orchestra.
Named after Conductor Laureate George Yaeger and his wife Marie, the Yaeger Society allows others to follow their example by providing a significant and lasting impact on the Philharmonic. Members of this society appreciate how a gift to the endowment can keep the music playing for many generations to come. Immediate and planned gifts to the Yaeger Society allow the Philharmonic to continue giving world-class concerts that make the Abilene community a great place to live, work, and play.
